I am a visual thinker, who loves to communicate messages for businesses, and my passion for design allows me to present these messages in a way that can help to truly define your brand. I am a proven and trusted advisor for companies who share my vision.
I began my career working in a web development company called Interact in 1997 as a junior designer, at the start of the internet rise and progressed to head of design overseeing a team of 15 designers. My role involved working closely with clients to help identify their vision, and developing the strategies that would help them to successfully meet their business objectives.

Ronan spent another 6 years with another well-known progressive Galway company Proactive Design & Marketing where he led the digital marketing team in delivering websites for clients such as Galway & Limerick Clinic, National University of Ireland (Galway), Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, Udaras na Gaeltachta, Tipperary Institute, Croi, RunIreland and many more.
With so much experience gained from working with clients across many industries over 25 years, Ronan is a very astute listener, and is highly skilled at developing strategies that successfully meet his clients’ business objectives and target market.
Ronan set up his own creative studio Cliste Design (Cliste is the Irish word for intelligent, or smart) 10 years ago, with the aim of working creatively with people to get the best outcomes possible for their businesses.

Ronan has a proud Galway heritage, with 10 generations of his fathers’ family hailing from Galway city. The Joyce Tribe (One of the 14 Tribes of Galway) were recognised for their strong leadership, military prowess, and unwavering loyalty to their homeland.
The Joyce family motto is “Mors aut honorabilis vita” in Latin which translates as “Honour in Life, and in Death” and it's a code that Ronan is proud to say was handed down from his father to himself and his five siblings, who all still live in Galway.
Honour and integrity are two of the fundamental cornerstones of his own business, Cliste Design.
