Matt O’Flaherty Chemists continues to be a family run, community based business offering compassionate care and advice for over 50 years. The group is now in its’ second generation of ownership, managed by Matt’s son, Colman and his wife Paula.
They have five branches, with locations in William Street, Galway Shopping Centre, Moycullen, Barna and University of Galway Campus Pharmacy. In each of their pharmacies, their team work tirelessly to ensure that they exceed their customers’ and patients’ needs. In addition to their core medical services, they also offer a diverse range of premium cosmetics and dermo-skincare.

Ronan Joyce has been working with Matt O'Flaherty Chemists for over 10 years. He meets up with the client at the start of each month to plan out the marketing activities for the upcoming month. They then devise a promotional strategy for each campaign, and design advertisements that fulfil the campaign brief.
Promotional Campaigns
Ronan has collaborated on promotional campaigns for some of their key brands including Lancôme, Clarins, Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Shiseido, L.A. Girl Makeup, Neutrogena, Skingredients, CeraVe, Sculpted by Aimee to name a few.
He has also developed recruitment campaigns for support pharmacists, over the counter consultants and cosmetic consultants. During the pandemic, Ronan has also ran promotional campaigns for vaccination clinic appointments at the different branches.
