Website Redesign
Geraldine approached Ronan Joyce about redesigning the Catherine Hayes Clinic website. Ronan had designed the original website, and after eight years the website needed an upgrade. A review of the navigation structure was undertaken, and with such importance on keeping users immersed on your website, a new clear and concise sitemap was developed to make it more user-friendly and easy for users to find exactly what they want.
A quick-loading, minimalist design was decided upon, and with Google now using a mobile-first index, it goes without saying that the new website had to be mobile responsive too.
Minimalist Design
After working out from the earlier research that the majority of website visitors will be looking for the following four main services; Electrolysis, Advanced Electrolysis, Permanent Hair Removal and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
These were created as the four main pillars of the homepage, and the design was kept to a minimalist white to reinforce the cleanliness and sterile nature of the clinic. The pops of colour come from all the photos to create a nice contrast and make all of the headings and information stand out clearly.
